Yellowhead Butterflyfish

Chaetodon xanthocephalus

Snout, throat, back and anal fins are yellow-orange.

Size : 20 cm

Habitat : In shallow, coral-rich reefs, likewise in rocky areas with algae growth, 2-25 m. Not shy. Often roams the reef alone, sometimes also in pairs.

Distribution : East Africa to Mauritius, Chagos Islands, the Maldives and Sri Lanka.
