Pacific Double-saddle Butterflyfish

Chaetodon ulietensis

Back is yellow with black tail root spot. Two dark, diffuse saddle spots.

Size : 15 cm

Habitat : Inhabits coral-rich lagoons and out reefs, 2-30 m. Lives alone, in pairs or small groups. Feeds on various small animals and plant matter.

Distribution : Cocos Keeling and Malaysia to S Japan, Micronesia and French Polynesia.
