Orangebanded Coralfish

Coradion chrysozonus

Two broad, copper-brown vertical bands behind the head, black eyespot on the rear dorsal fin, black spot at the tail base.

Size : 15 cm

Habitat : In coastal reefs with more or less coral growth, also in rocky and rubble areas, 3-60 m. Feeds on sponges.

Distribution : Andaman Sea and NW Australia to SW Japan, the Philippines, Solomons and GBR.
