The back band begins to the rear of the streamer.

Size : 30 cm

Habitat : Inhabits coral-rich lagoons and outreefs, occasionally also in dead reef areas, 2-25 m. Swims in pairs or in small groups. Feeds off invertebrate bottom-dwellers, such as bristleworms.

Distribution : East Africa to SW Japan and French Polynesia.
