Striped Boxfish

Ostracion solorense

Males with dark blue side and pale blue spots.

Size : 11 cm

Habitat : Prefers outreefs with good coral growth, 2-20 m. Swims alone or in pairs, usually near shelters, quite shy.

Distribution : Christmas Islands and NW Australia to S Japan, Palau, PNG Fiji and Northern, GBR.
