Two dark, short close dashes at the rear of the eye. Black chin stripe.

Size : 6 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and outreefs, 3-15 m. On dead and living coral. Squats usually in the open, flees into its burrow upon danger.

Distribution : Sri Lanka to SW Japan, Taiwan and Vanuatu.
