Yellowtail Barracuda

Sphyraena flavicauda

Back and tail yellowish-green, likewise lateral horizontal stripe. Especially in order fish, this colouration usually only appears as a pale shimmer on the basic silvery colouration.

Size : 40 cm

Habitat : In deep lagoons and at outer reefs. In schools during the day which disperse at night.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan, Samoa and GBR.
