Pale yellowish tail. Side with slightly curved markings.

Size : 150 cm

Habitat : In deep lagoons and at current-rich protrusions of outreefs. Uncommon. Also intrudes into muddier waters. Occurs alone or in small schools.

Distribution : Red Sea, Arabian Gulf and East Africa to SW Japan and Fiji and Tonga.
