Halfmoon Angelfish

Pomacanthus maculosus

Blueish white tail, yellow patch on side does not extended to the dorsal fin.

Size : 50 cm

Habitat : In coral-rich out reefs as well as turbid bays, 2-60 m. Usually alone, occasionally also swims in pairs. Not shy. Its food includes sponges, leather coral and algae.

Distribution : Red Sea, Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman to Seychelles.
