Pomacanthus annularis

Blue temple ring, curved blue horizontal stripes.

Size : 45 cm

Habitat : Prefers coastal reefs with moderate coral growth or rock areas, often in murky water, 5-45 m. Adults frequently in pairs, otherwise alone. Often rests in cavities and wrecks. Feeds on sponges and sea squirts.

Distribution : East Africa to SW Japan, the Philippines and Solomons.
