Bluegirdle Angelfish

Pomacanthus navarchus

Blue pectoral fin, yellow tail. Dark blue area which extends in a U-shape over anal fin and abdomen to the brow.

Size : 25 cm

Habitat : In clear lagoons and out reefs, 3-40 m. Usually alone, often close to protection. Relatively shy. Its food sources include sponges and sea squirts.

Distribution : Indonesia to the Philippines, Palau, Yap, Solomons and GBR.
