Head blue with yellow eye mask. Dark spot at the back of the dorsal fin.

Size : 38 cm

Habitat : Inhabits coral-rich lagoons and outer reef slopes, 5-35 m. Usually alone, sometimes also in pairs. Feeds sponges and sea squirts.

Distribution : The Maldives to Indonesia, SW Japan, Western Micronesia, GBR and Vanuatu.
