Barred Angelfish

Broad black vertical stripes. White interstices each one with a fine, weak yellowish line.

Size : 11 cm

Habitat : Prefers steep outer reef slopes, 10-70 m. Alone, occasionally also in small groups. Usually at caves, overhangs or other shelters. Shy species.

Distribution : Cocos Keeling to SW Japan, the Philippines, PNG, GBR and French Polynesia.
