Insects are a group of invertebrate animals in the phylum Arthropoda, have characteristics of a chitinous exoskeleton, their body parts are divided into three parts, namely the head, thorax, and abdomen, have three pairs of legs connected to the thorax, have compound eyes, and a pair of antennae. Insects usually live on land (terrestrial), but there are some that live in water (aquatic).
