Hemidactylus platyurus

Description

Hemidactylus platyurus has a medium-sized, compressed body with a long snout. Their skin sagged along the sides of their body, smooth and without keeled or imbricate scales. The tail is flattened, widest near the base with fringe of soft and spiny skin. The thigh has a cutaneous skin webbing, the fingers have prominent webs. The color varies from light gray, brown to dark brown, the color becomes lighter during the day or when well warmed up. The lower part of the body is slightly white.
