Description

Suncus murinus has a gray to grayish brown body. The tail is thick at the base and slightly narrowed at the end, covered with thin hairs. It has short legs with five clawed toes. The ears are small, the snout is elongated, with incisors. They also give off a strong odor produced by the glands.
