Description

Sphex argentatus is a solitary wasp that has a black body. The head and part of the mesosoma are covered with shiny white hairs. Has a small, slender and long waist (petiole). It has two pairs of wings, the ends of which have dots appearance, the front wings are larger than the hind wings.
