Description

Nososticta insignis has compound eyes, the upper side is black while the underside is yellow. The thorax is black with yellow bands pattern. The abdomen is long and slim, the 1-7 segments are black, while the 8-10 segments are bright blue on top. The wings are dark transparent with black pterostigma.
