Orsotriaena medus

Description

Orsotriaena medus has dark brown upperwings with thin pale margins, dark brown undersides with 2 large ocelluses on the forewings and 3 ocelluses on the hind wings. There is a white line running down the underside of both wings.

Larva: larvae of Orsotriaena medus spindle-shaped, reddish in color, blue dorsal with white lateral stripes. The surface of the body is covered with small turbecles, there are two long brown horns on the head.

Pupa: Orsotriaena medus pupa is whitish brown to yellow with dark stripes.
