Hebomoia glaucippe has creamy white forewings, black apex and terminal margins. On the apex there is a reddish orange mark that is crossed by a black line between spaces 3 to 6. The underside wings are pale brown like dry leaves. This species has dark brown antennae, reddish brown head and thorax, white abdomen with a bluish tinge.
Larva: larvae of Hebomoia glaucippe are subsillindric, tapering at both ends, dark green in color with bluish lateral lines and a series of small red spots.
Pupa: Hebomoia glaucippe pupa has a spindle shape, its head is pointed and sharp, its back is arched. The pupa is green in color with pale ochraceous patches on the wing pads and lateral bands of the same color from head to tail.
