Discophora sondaica

Description

Discophora sondaica has dark brown upperwings with a series of pale blue spots on the apical half of the forewings in males. The female individual has dark brown wings with a series of white spots on the post-discal and sub-marginal forewings. The underside of the wings is brown with striated streaks, the distal half of the wings is lighter in color and there are some ocellus on the post-diskal part of the hindwing.

Larva: Discophora sondaica larvae are cylindrical brown in color with yellow and brick red hues, have long, smooth setae covering their bodies.

Pupa: Discophora sondaica pupae are green or pink in color, smooth surface.
