Discolampa ethion

Description

Discolampa ethion has dark blue upper wings with a white band on the inner edge, the front costa edges and the terminal edges of the two front wings are black. The underside of the wings is white with a stripe in the form of ribbons and jet black spots. The head, antennae, chest and abdomen are black, the palpi has a white longitudinal stripe.

Larva: Discolampa ethion larvae are onisciform, greenish white with light green dorsal bands, the texture looks smooth, but there is thick white setae.

Pupa: Discolampa ethion pupa is shaped like a typical lycaenid, bright green in color with a dark green line in the center, there are several small red dots around the wing pads.
