Description

Spilostethus hospes is medium size bug with black and brown pattern. The head is triangular with a prominent median lobe, large round eyes, and has black antennae. The thorax is flat, wide at the base while the anterior is narrowed. There is a dark brown membrane that extends beyond the tip of the abdomen. The ventral body is pilose in shape with fine white setae all over the body including the legs.
