Description

Apis cerana is small, has long hair that cover the compound eye, black in color with 4 yellow stripes on the abdomen. The workers have press pollen on the hind leg to transport pollen, they also have sting. The males characterized by larger eye, no sting, and blatant abdomen shape. The queen is bigger than worker due to enlarge reproductive organ.
