Stachyris melanothorax

Description

Stachyris melanothorax is a bird of the family Timaliidae, small in stature of about 13 cm. It has a whitish brow line with brown irises, and a dark brown beak. Reddish brown crown and wings. Olive brown back and tail. Throat has white patches, bordered by an irregular black color. The chest, cheeks and belly are gray, and the buttocks are brushed with rust brown.
