Description

Locustella certhiola has a medium body size with a length of about 15 cm. The color of the feathers on the wings and back is dark brown with some black stripes. The lower body looks lighter with a yellowish white color around the chest and sides of the body. The tail is reddish brown, the stripe is black, and the tip of the tail is white. The upper beak is brown and the lower part is yellowish, pinkish feet.

In a state of danger or disturbance it will emit a rapid creaking sound and a sharp “tick” sound, and fly into denser forests. These birds live alone and also in small groups.
