Description

Anas superciliosa has a dark brown body color. The head is dark brown with a beige line above and below the eyes, a dark line running through the eyes. On the wings visible patches of green-purple colors. The lower body is white. In females the black markings on the head are slightly more brown. Young birds have stripes on the underside of their bodies.
