Description

Anas acuta has a long neck and tail. Males are mostly gray in color. The head is brown with a white slash on the neck, the chest is white, the beak is bluish, and the legs are blue-grey. The female body is mottled light brown, the head is gray brown, the tail is shorter than the male. The beak is gray.
