Description

Falco cenchroides are pale red and the black markings are less dense. Iris brown, bill gray with black tips, legs and feet yellow. The male has a pale gray forehead and a brown nape. The female is similar to the juvenile, but slightly gloomier, the underparts are more grayish-rust and the tops are streaked with thicker black.
