Description

Falco subbuteo adults dark gray upper body with a dark crown and two short black whisker stripes. The white throat is not striped, the thighs and lower tail feathers are not striped. The other underside is whitish with black stripes. Juveniles are much more brown in color with a scaly upper body and striped thighs.
