Description

Orthotomus sutorius has a body size of about 10 to 14 cm. The fur of the forehead and top of the head is rusty red with yellowish eyebrows. Grayish nape, back, wings and olive green tail. Underbody white with gray sides. The irises are pale yellow, the upper beak is black while the lower half is pinkish white, and the legs are pink. In the mating season, the male’s middle tail feathers grow lengthwise.
