Description

Medium-sized woodpecker, colorful feathers, and black and white striped face. The characteristics of the male crown and crest are red, while the female crown is black with white stripes, the rear rump is red, the coat and wings are covered in gold, on the chest are scaly. red irises, black beak and feet.
