Anthreptes malacensis

Description

Anthreptes malacensis measures 13 cm. Its main characteristic has a long, tapered beak. Male individual: crown and back, shiny green. Tunggir, wing covers, tail, shining purple mustache strips. The cheeks, chin, throat are dark brown, opaque, whereas in female individuals: the upper body is olive green and the lower body is light yellow.
