Lutjanus biguttatus

Broad white horizontal band, bordered above and below by a brown-red horizontal stripe. Back brownish-grey with two or three white patches.

Size : 20 cm

Habitat : In coral-rich lagoons and out reefs, 3-30 m. Nocturnal species. During the day usually in small to large congregations in the vicinity of coral formations.

Distribution : The Maldives to the Philippines, Solomons, Fiji and GBR.
