Golden Rabbitfish

Siganus guttatus

Numerous orange-yellow body spots. Large, golden yellow spot beneath the rear dorsal fin base.

Size : 40 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and coastal reefs, coral and rock areas, 2-30 m. Often in small groups, sometimes also in pairs. Swims over coral-rich surfaces as well as over sand.

Distribution : Andaman Sea to SW Japan, Palau, Bali and Papua.
