Amblyeleotris randalli

Unmistakable, with six to seven orange vertical stripes and a large first dorsal fins with light-edged black eyespot.

Size : 9 cm

Habitat : On sandy bottom, often below overhangs, prefers clear outreefs, 10-50 m. Lives along with snapping shrimp such as Alpheus djeddensis or A. ochrostiatus.

Distribution : Indonesia, the Philippines to SW Japan, Palau and Fiji.
