Blotched Goby

Fusigobius inframaculatus

Semi-transparent, numerous orange patches along top of entire body. Tail root with dark spot and a white spot in front of it. Front dorsal fin with long first ray.

Size : 7 cm

Habitat : On sand or silted stony coral of outreefs, 5-20 m. Takes sand in its mouth and sifts it for tiny invertebrates.

Distribution : Indonesia to Guam, GBR, Solomons and Tonga.
